Speak up!
Imagine that you are a scientist, an environmentalist, or someone (a member of a lobby/interest groups) who has an interest in preserving marine turtles.
- Plan a persuasive speech directed at a particular audience.
- Identify:
- the information you need to include
- print and/or multimodal audio/visual aids you could use to support your presentation
- ways to organise your presentation and language
- language devices you could use to engage as well as inform your audience.

Making a presentation checklist
- Participate in a small or whole group discussion. Share your plan, explaining and justifying your choices, and evaluating those made by others.
