Speak up!

Plan, rehearse and deliver an imaginative and/or persuasive spoken presentation. Here are some ideas:

• present a poetry reading
• create a voice recording, incorporating sound effects, of a multimodal narrative, eg The Rabbits
• perform a comedy routine
• or speak for or against an environmental issue.

When you have decided on your topic you can start putting your presentation together.

• Select and sequence appropriate content and multimodal elements to promote a point of view, and persuade or entertain a particular audience.
• Remember, you have creative control - make your audience believe your words.
• Use the 'Spoken presentation preparation' and/or 'Making a presentation checklist' to check your planning.
